Word of mouth had gotten the location of this slightly-singed farmhouse to us, so we went to check it out. After much trudging through long and very burr-ridden grass thanks to an inept navigator (ie: me), we reached the house. It was easy to tell that it was once quite large for a farmouse, before a fire had destroyed nearly half of it.

The east side of the house is a bit singed but mostly intact, and it contains what looks to be a living room, two bathrooms, and possibly a bedroom. There is a small corridor between the bedroom and living room which heads west into the remains of either a patio or a sunroom. Anything westwards past that is completely gone, only the foundation remains. There's also a barn which appears to be still in use, as it's securely shut with a shiny new padlock. Whoever had once lived in the house had not even bothered to take the satellite dish, car, and motorcycle that are still strewn about the property.

As a final note, it appears that this house may be due for demolition. The fields around it are set for some new condominiums, and it's likely that this house will be demolished as well. So, if you know its location, I suggest you take a look at this gem as soon as you can get out there.
