We’ve known about this place for a while and were waiting for an opportunity to get in, and we finally got one during the demolition of the building. I was just driving by and noticed the demolition had begun so that night I tried to see who was around and only r00bix of FreeBase Ideal was able to make it so the next day we decided to get it done before any further demolition occurred on the building.

R00bix sported a hard hat, construction boots and a short sleeve collared shirt in order to look the part of a construction worker, I however looked rather out of place with t-shirt and running shoes; however I did have an asbestos mask.

We quickly went around back of the building and accessed it through a door from there(although we could have gone through any of the windows, or even parts of the demolished wall) inside the building consisted of 4 wings of rooms which had two floors, a main central area which had 3 floors and a basement area. Only one of the wings still had windows completely intact.

We proceeded to explore the entire building from the ground up; the place had been mostly gutted except for a few remaining beds and chairs. We got into the basement which had been emptied except for some green cabinets. After exploring the rest of the building we went to the roof and got some pictures up there on the roof there were some elevator machinery and skylights.

It was a bit disappointing that we weren’t able to get to this place before the demolition; however the demolition did add some cool pictures of collapsing ceilings and walls.
