Citizen-X and I came across this combination warehouse/office building across the street from a cement factory on Ann St. It had been a long day of looking around for buildings without much luck. The only interesting thing that happened was my finding an old socket wrench in the parking lot of this abandoned truck depot. Anyway, we just went down the street for the hell of it and ran into the building.

I have no idea what this place was called, or why it was abandoned. All we know is it's a fairly large building containing small offices, garages, and a warehouse section. It appears to be 60s or 70s archtecture.

So we checked the place out: it was surrounded by one of those flimsy orange fences, and part of the garages were being torn down so there were a few construction vehicles around, as well as a security truck parked at the rear, however none were occupied. We went around the back and found the garage area to be empty of everything except a white desk. At the front of the building directly off the garages are some small offices. The first one contained some rotting drapes and not much else. After that is the washroom, which only contains one toilet stall and a sink, although we found the urinal leaned up against the front doors of the building for some reason.

After that is another small office, what looked to be a conference room, and a small wood-panelled room with a few electrical boxes and some fluorescent lights. Then we get to the only really interesting room in the place, directly off the conference room: the employee kitchen. Now the rest of this place was pretty well cleaned out of everything interesting, except the kitchen. It had a table, some moldy chairs, a busted microwave, a fridge, and also a school desk. As well there was some other cooking device on the floor which I surmise to be a toaster oven.

Off the other end of the conference room is a large warehouse area containing a lot of random garbage and wood planks. Water continually drips from the ceiling just above its entranceway. We checked out another couple small rooms in hopes of finding a clue as to what the place was called, but they were just as cleaned-out as the rest of the place, so we just snapped a few pics and left without incident.
